En het is even een investering: de Ektorp bank met een paar verschillende hoezen of een bank met een aantal plaids die je af kunt wisselen

De hoezen voor de bank en kussentjes die je even niet gebruikt kun je het beste zo makkelijk mogelijk opbergen, niet ergens achter op zolder, want dan pak je ze niet zo gauw meer, mocht je (weer!)eens in een veranderstemming zijn. De mijne zitten in deze dekenkist, die tevens als salontafel dient. Maar ook oude koffers, manden of kisten kunnen heel goed als opbergplaats dienen. Zowel mooi als praktisch!
You better can store the covers for the couch and cushions on an easy spot, not somewhere hidden on the attic, so you can reach for them easily if you're in a changing mood (again!). Mine are hidden in this chest, also our coffe table. But old suitcases, baskets or boxes are great storage places too. Both beautiful and practical!
Cheap accessories
Oude foto's, knipsels uit tijdschriften, nostalgische kaarten
Old pictures, clippings from magazines, vintage cards
Zelfs oude poppenkleertjes, ooit eens gekocht op een rommelmarkt voor een paar cent
Even old dolls clothes, bought once on a fleamarket for just a few cents
Oude boeken, voor slechts een euro bij de kringloop
Old books for just an Euro at the thriftshop
En voor mij een onmisbare finishing touch: bloemen!
And for me an essential finishing touch: flowers!
Dus de meeste spulletjes heb ik al in huis, ik rouleer zo nu en dan eens wat, zet wat ik op dat moment even niet kan gebruiken in de schuur. Natuurlijk koop ik ook weleens wat nieuws erbij ofwel bij de kringloop vandaan of bij de bloemenwinkel van m'n zusje, Bloembinderij Ma-d'r-Liefjes, zij heeft zoveel leuke dingen, dat is soms moeilijk te weerstaan! Maar echt in de papieren lopen doet het niet. Ook maak ik regelmatig zelf accessoires. Ik hou van budget-metamorfoses!
So most of my stuff I've already in the house, I circulate things every now and than, and what I can't use at that moment I put away in the barn. Of course I buy sometimes new things, sometimes from the thriftstore, sometimes from my sister's shop, Bloembinderij Ma-d'r-Liefjes, she sells so many lovely things it's hard to resist! But it never gets out of hand. I also make accessories myself. I love make-overs on a budget!
Ik wil nog wel even benadrukken dat dit dus mijn manier van werken is, een ieder is vrij om te doen en laten wat hij of zij wil natuurlijk!
I want to emphasize that this is my way to do the the things I do, everbody is free to do the things in their own way!
De problemen zijn nog steeds niet opgelost...

Zo vind ik bloggen niet leuk meer...
Dus ik na nu even heel goed nadenken wat ik ga doen, ofwel m'n oude blog weer oppakken en leegmaken of ik stop er even mee en wacht of het nog goed gaat komen, ik weet het gewoon niet meer... Dit is zo gr$%&^#$% frustrerend!
